We are not out of the woods yet, but the longing for a rejuvenating holiday is hard to suppress. The pandemic has put a lot of things into perspective. The biggest revelation being the importance of health and wellbeing. Going forward the travelers will seek mental and physical wellbeing over the regular touristy “Things to do”. I have been planning for a relaxing trip since months to overcome the pandemic fatigue and I can’t think of any other destination apart from Thailand. Thailand – “The land of Smile” is equipped in every possible way to rejuvenate and reboot your mind, body and soul. I can’t help but reminisce the invigorating time that I spent in Thailand.

Thailand is one stop destination to rediscover yourself and overcome any kind of weariness. From relaxing spas to healing therapies to pristine white sand beaches to happening night parties to imposing city skyscrapers to unlimited shopping destination, Thailand has something for every kind of traveler. Here’s a list of my Thailand favorites, which will come handy when you plan your wellness retreat to Thailand.

Phuket in Thailand

The pristine beaches of Phuket can mesmerize your body and soul. The incredibly soft white sand of Freedom beach is capable of taking away all your worries. If the party animal inside you is seeking for some happening night parties then Patong Beach of Phuket is your answer. Phuket has a perfect balance of vibrant nightlife and peaceful cultural retreats. From luxurious retreats to mid-range wellness resorts, Phuket has something to offer for all.

Chiang Mai in Thailand

My time in Chiang Mai was revelation of the café culture in Thailand. Chiang Mai is a confluence of past and present. On one side you can enthrall yourself with the history of ancient temples and mountain landscape and on the other side you have tribal villages and museums that will take you to a different era. Chiang Mai has innumerable options to indulge in detoxifying your body. My favorite is to sip on some nice hot coffee in the pleasant weather of Chiang Mai.

Bangkok In Thailand

If you are wondering why Bangkok is in my list then you aren’t aware of the satisfaction and happiness that one gets out of retail therapy. Bangkok has plethora of shopping options on very economical prices. Not just this the city is also home to some amazing spas. Spend the day shopping your heart out and then retire in a nice spa to relax and rejuvenate your body.

Thailand truly offers a revitalizing vacation experience. It not just about beaches and sun but also about world class spas and traditional remedies which restores the energy of the body. The future travels are going to prioritize wellness over any other aspect of travelling. Keeping that in mind Thailand, ‘Land of Smiles’ is the best country to visit in the near future
