With Christmas around the corner the preparations are on its peak. All this while I had always thought Christmas is all about decorating the tree with different shiny and glittery ornaments. So basically you go out and shop for the ornaments and hang them creatively around the tree to prepare it for the Christmas night. I don’t remember, even vaguely thinking about buying the Christmas tree. It could be because in India we generally buy the plastic trees which are available in the market and decorate them. But recently I got an opportunity to try my hands on Christmas tree shopping. It isn’t a very simple drill there are so many specifics to take care while you are out to buy the Christmas tree. So without a further ado let’s go Christmas tree shopping.
Christmas tree shopping depends a lot on your personal choice. The trees are available in a variety of sizes because one may prefer a small and cute tree while some other might want a gigantic one. Also the trees are differentiated on the softness of the leaves. Some trees bear very soft and slippery leaves while some have hard and spiny leaves. The prices also vary accordingly. It is all about your personal choice and preference.
Once you have chosen an apt Christmas tree for yourself the next big task is carrying that tree home. To facilitate this process the vendors envelope the whole tree in a net which makes it portable and easy to carry home. Once it is properly packed you can carry your tree home without any hassle.
It might be just another drill for people living out of India but for me it was a new experience and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Though we didn’t buy the tree from this shop because the lady in the above picture is very particular about what she wants and is very difficult to please too. I was accompanying her for her Christmas Tree shopping.
What are you doing this Christmas ?
